Jeff Martin Auctioneers held a farm and construction equipment public auction in Ottumwa, Iowa, on April 13. The auction, which was the company's first venture in the Midwest, proved to be a great success.

This public auction was held for several consignors, including local contractors liquidating inventory. A total of 282-plus buyers participated in live and online bidding, some from as far as Texas, Florida and South Carolina.

Highlights from the auction included a 2016 John Deere 50G excavator, a 2011 John Deere 724K wheel loader, a 2016 John Deere 35G mini-excavator and a 2016 John Deere 317G multi-terrain loader.

Jeff Martin Auctioneers' next two-day auction in Brooklyn, Miss., will be the Late Spring Public Auction held May 5 and 6. Live and online bidding will be offered both days. This auction will feature construction equipment, heavy trucks, farm equipment, attachments, vehicles and related items.
