J.J. Kane Auctioneers held an auction June 24 in Plymouth Meeting, Pa.

Nearly 1,000 registered bidders participated in the auction, with some from as far away as Canada, Columbia, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Haiti, Jordan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand and Poland.

Approximately 900 lots went on the block consisting of equipment from 105 owners, totaling approximately $3.8 million. J.J. Kane reported that prices exceeded the auction estimate by 21 percent.

During the auction, there were 73 successful Internet buyers who represented more than $1 million of the total sales.
