JM Wood Auction Co. held an onsite auction at the Alabama Bridge Builders facility in Clanton, Ala., on March 26. The sale hugely successful with a high turnout, and total sales eclipsing $5.7 million and over $1.9 million (or approximately 33 percent) of the purchases being made online. Strong online biding came in from Mexico, Vietnam, Uruguay, Singapore, Puerto Rico, Poland, Hungary, Columbia, Canada and Puerto Rico."We have conducted thousands of auctions over the past 41 years and worked for some remarkable people in the construction industry, but the Mims family stands out as one of the classiest and hardworking families we have ever been blessed to work for," said Bryant Wood, vice president of JM Wood.
