There was a strong turnout for the last auction of 2014 at J.M. Wood Auction's two-day sale held on Dec. 3 to 4 at the company's Montgomery, Ala., headquarters facility. More than $15 million was sold with more than $1 million sold online. Bidders from the United States, United Kingdom, Bolivia, Canada, Israel, Mexico, New Zealand, Nigeria, Panama and Poland participated in the sale.

Highlights of the sale included a group of Caterpillar 140M motorgraders from Mississippi as well as a fleet of 2013 Mack and Kenworth day cab tractors.

"We had a great turnout for our last auction of the year," said Bryant Wood. "The online bidding was hot both days, and contractors were doing some end of the year spending to gear up for a very promising 2015 work season."

J.M. Wood Auction's next sale lineup will be the 42nd Annual Spring Auction during the first week of March 2015.
