KATO Compact Excavator Sales announced the launch of the all-new KATO 110R rotating crawler carrier, engineered to bring efficiency, stability and versatility to job sites across North America, according to KATO.

This next-generation carrier builds on KATO's proven legacy of simple, strong and reliable machines — delivering a powerful upgrade for contractors, utilities, municipalities and rental houses seeking performance, according to KATO.

Designed around a full 360-degree rotating upper structure, the 110R allows operators to dump in any direction without repositioning the machine. This reduces ground disturbance, speeds up cycle times and dramatically improves productivity on tight or challenging terrain, according to KATO.

Compact yet powerful, the 110R features a footprint of 18.3 ft. long by 8.8 ft. wide by 8.9 ft. tall and 24.4 in. of ground clearance, offering stability and off-road capability. Built with a steel dump bed, the machine delivers an 11-ton payload capacity and up to 8 cu. yds. of heaped material, making it ideal for demanding haul-and-dump environments, according to KATO.

The newly designed operator station elevates comfort and control with a 10.1-in. integrated monitor, large footwell, improved sightlines and standard right-side and rear-view cameras. The result is a safer, more intuitive operator experience that reduces fatigue and boosts overall productivity, according to KATO.

Powering the 110R is a Cummins B6.7 engine producing 256 horsepower, enabling travel speeds up to 7.3 mph and performance in rugged conditions.

"KATO has expanded its line of crawler carriers to meet the greater demand for full 360-degree rotating units. For any construction, utility or municipal crew needing a go-anywhere, do-anything machine — the 110R checks every box," said Jenny Smith Price, president of sales and operations of KATO Compact Excavator Sales. "It's simply one of the most customizable and essential rotating carriers on the market."

The KATO 110R rotating crawler carrier reflects more than 30 years of engineering, Japanese manufacturing quality and support based in the United States.
