Kenworth of Buffalo has acquired a Kenworth dealership in the Boston area and changed the name of its expanded, five-dealer organization to the Kenworth Northeast Group.

The dealer group recently purchased the Kenworth dealership in Stoughton, Mass., along with territorial rights for eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island from Tri-State Kenworth in Enfield, Conn. As part of the expansion, Kenworth Northeast Group dealerships are now known by names better indicative of the market region each location serves.

Kenworth Northeast Group maintains its headquarters in Buffalo, N.Y., and operates the following full-service facilities: Kenworth of Albany, Kenworth of Buffalo, Kenworth of Rochester, and Kenworth of Syracuse in New York state, and Kenworth of Boston in Massachusetts.
