Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc., an Oklahoma City-based heavy equipment, crane and utility equipment distributor, has named John Arterberry to its crane division sales team at its Fort Worth branch and Todd York at its Tulsa, Okla., branch.

Arterberry has more than 15 years of experience in the heavy equipment, utility, and crane industry, including the last seven years with Kirby-Smith Machinery as a branch rental manager, territory sales manager and corporate crane rental manager. His background includes extensive experience and training with Grove, National, Manitowoc and Effer cranes.

“John is well-qualified to handle his responsibilities on the crane division sales team in our Fort Worth branch,” said Ben Graham, vice president and crane division manager of Kirby-Smith. “He has a solid track record with our company, and his values are in-line with our overall culture. I’m confident in his ability to present the current and prospective customers in his territory with our Manitowoc, Grove, and National Crane products, parts and service.”

York joined Kirby-Smith in 2002 as a rental coordinator in the Tulsa branch office after more than 10 years in the pipeline industry.

“We are excited to have Todd join our crane division sales team,” said Graham. “He has all of the tools, the work ethic, and the right attitude to help us develop the Tulsa branch territory.”
