Kirby-Smith Names Coffey Used Equipment Manager

Kirby-Smith Machinery, based in Oklahoma City, OK, has named Randy Coffey as its used equipment manager.

Coffey joined Kirby-Smith earlier in 2002 as general rental manager, and is now assuming responsibilities of the used equipment manager position as well.

Among Coffey’s duties will be managing the company’s large rental fleet, handling purchasing and selling, and supervising four branch managers.

Coffey has 25 years of experience working for heavy equipment dealers, 22 of which were for Caterpillar dealers. He was rental fleet manager of Darr Equipment in Oklahoma, and has worked with used equipment for 10 years. He also owned a grading company.

During his three years with Dresser Construction Equipment, Coffey earned the Masters Club salesman award each year.

Kirby-Smith is a distributor of cranes and heavy equipment for contractors in the central United States, serving north Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri and souther n Illinois.
