Don Harvell has been named region manager of the southern region for LBX Company, makers of Link-Belt earthmoving, forestry and material handling equipment.

As region manager, Harvell is responsible for sales support for the Link-Belt excavator, Spin Ace excavator, wheel loader, articulated dump truck, material handling and forestry equipment in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and western Tennessee.

Harvell comes to LBX from a multi-state construction equipment distributor where he managed 14 salesmen out of four stores throughout northern Texas and Oklahoma. Prior to that, he established a startup construction equipment store for the distributor in Oahu, Hawaii, which immediately became a strong and profitable location.

“As you can see, Don brings a vast amount of experience, knowledge and talent to LBX and we are extremely excited about him joining our team,” said Mike Davis, director of marketing and sales.

Before entering the construction equipment industry in 1999, Harvell spent 10 years in various positions in the medical sales industry.
