Leading global construction equipment manufacturer LiuGong Machinery’s Asia Pacific subsidiary (LiuGong Asia Pacific) will now house the Asia Pacific arm of Dressta Co., Ltd. at its Singapore headquarters located at Tuas Loop, following the company’s acquisition of Polish company HSW’s (HutaStalowaWola) civil engineering machinery division and its distribution arm, Dressta Co, Ltd (henceforth known as LiuGong Dressta Machinery) in January 2012.
“The successful integration of both businesses marks a tremendous opportunity for LiuGong to achieve further growth in this region. We see Dressta colleagues as our extended family members. Hence, not a single staff member was laid off during the integration of LiuGong and Dressta,” explained Mr Joseph Wong.
Mr. Wong has taken on the role of General Manager of Dressta Asia Pacific, while retaining his current position as Customer Service Director of LiuGong Machinery Asia Pacific.
Having been established in 1937 (HSW) and having over 75 years of production expertise in Europe, LiuGong Dressta Machinery manufactures high-quality crawler dozers at its plant in the Podkarpackie province in southwestern Poland. The company also produces wheel loaders, loggers, pipe layers, conveyer belt shifters, motor graders and machines customized for landfill applications. Dressta has a streamlined, efficient and responsive technical service organization that reacts expediently and professionally to any technical and product support issues from customers and dealers, according to the company.

Dressta’s extensive distributor network complements LiuGong’s global dealership footprint. “The combined distribution network will allow us to bring the expanded our product line to more dealers, more efficiently, and offer better support for both LiuGong and Dressta customers,” said Mr. Wong.
