LiuGong Machinery has promoted Kevin Thieneman to vice president. He will be responsible for global strategy and business development, global after-sales business, and support the acceleration of market segment solutions. Thineman also will continue in his role as executive chairman of LiuGong North America, position he has held since he joined LiuGong in June 2017.
Thieneman has 25 years of experience in the construction equipment sector. Before joining LiuGong, he served as president of Caterpillar Forest Products, and had served in senior leadership roles for Caterpillar in the Asia Pacific region for more than a decade. He has been a member of the West Georgia Technical College board of directors as well as a member of the Industry Advisory Board for Georgia Tech's Supply Chain & Logistics Institute. In May, Thieneman completed his one-year term as chairman of the Georgia Association of Manufacturers.
