Messicks has set a new record of donations collected, reaching a total of $41,942.37 this year during their Christmas Light Show display in Elizabethtown PA. The Christmas Light Show was open to the public for 28 nights in December and brought in over 3,942 cars throughout the event. 100% of the donations collected are distributed to local charities including Paxton Street Ministries, Water Street Rescue Mission, Mennonite Disaster Service, and Elizabethtown Community Cupboard. This year marks the 4th year that Messick's has put on the Christmas Light Show and with this years donations included, they have reached a total of $120,657.72 raised and donated to local charities!

Messick's Christmas light show this year featured a new massive snow blowing machine, two flame throwers and over 100,000 lights covering the store, light poles, and dozens of Kubota tractors, excavators, skid steer loaders and RTV's that move to holiday music broadcasted to an FM radio station for viewers to enjoy from the warmth of their car.
