Chris MacAllister, president and COO of MacAllister Machinery Co. Inc. has announced the acquisition of Garco Industrial Equipment Company Inc. Garco is a full service parts, sales and service dealer representing Kubota, ExMark, Bunton, EZGO, Kawasaki, Echo, Befco and Billy Goat. The operation is located on the Southeast side of Indianapolis at 5401 Elmwood Ave.

Former MacAllister employee, Dave Davis, has rejoined the company to manage the operation. MacAllister Machinery welcomes the current Garco employees to the MacAllister team. Dan Gardner, former owner, will remain on board as the sales manager.

Doug Clark, vice president of operations, MacAllister Machinery stated, “The integration of MacAllister’s product lines such as Cat skid steer loaders and Garco’s lines of equipment will allow us to serve our customers better, along with establishing a larger customer base. Our primary customer base will include landscape contractors, municipal governments, hobby farms, agriculture, commercial mowers, golf and homeowners.”
