The board of directors of McLaughlin Manufacturing Company, Greenville, SC, has appointed Dave Gasmovic, president and chief operating officer, according to a recent announcement by Paul Barker, chairman.

Gasmovic joined McLaughlin in 1979 as regional sales manager at the company’s facility in Plainfield, IL, and later transferred to its plant in Arlington, TX, where he managed all sales activities in the Southwestern states.

He relocated to Greenville, SC, in 1983, where he served as Southeastern regional sales manager. He was appointed general manager in 1985, assuming responsibility for all administrative and manufacturing functions, as well as sales and marketing activities with the company’s National Dealer Organization. In 1990, he was promoted to vice president of McLaughlin.

McLaughlin is a manufacturer and distributor of equipment for the underground construction industry.
