Meekins Auction Company held its annual spring contractors auction on April 11 in Lumberton, N.C. Featuring absolute packages of equipment and trucks from Tri-City Contractors Inc., Hill Grading and Landscaping Company, ES & J Enterprises Inc. and other owners, the auction brought in $3.5 million in sales.The major public auction sold more than 1,300 lots consisting of earth moving equipment, paving and compaction equipment, forestry equipment, heavy duty trucks and trailers, support equipment, landscaping equipment, agricultural equipment, attachments, pickups, sport utility vehicles, automobiles and other items. More than 1,100 bidders from 19 states and eight countries participated in the auction, on site and online.
