Mellott Company announced the appointment of Jason Talbot to the position of executive vice president and chief operating officer. He brings to Mellott Company 15 years of successful experience in engineering, manufacturing, sales and application of quarrying and mining equipment. Talbot's predecessor, Ramesh Patel, remains with Mellott Company in an advisory capacity for the foreseeable future.

Talbot will be directing company growth strategies and action-implementation, focused on continual improvement of services and support for Mellott Company customers. Departmental responsibilities include manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, new machine sales, parts sales and service. Talbot directs the long-term efforts of 202 personnel.
