For decades, contractors, producers and operators have treated telehandlers as dependable but limited tools.
At ConExpo-Con/AGG 2026, Merlo intends to rewrite that expectation entirely. A telehandler, Merlo argues, can be the most versatile, intelligent and strategically valuable machine a business owns.
"We believe the American construction and agricultural sectors are ready for a new level of versatility," said Cole Renken, general manager of Merlo America. "A Merlo telehandler is not simply a lift-and-place machine. It is a multi-application platform that allows businesses to consolidate equipment, reduce capital expense and do work they simply couldn't do before. ConExpo 2026 is the moment where we show the industry how transformative that shift can be."
Machine Built to Replace Half Your Fleet
Merlo's vision is simple: build versatility into the machine itself. Each of its models functions as a complete multi-application platform, capable of stepping into tasks typically handled by wheel loaders, skid steers, forklifts, light cranes and agricultural tractors. When paired with Merlo's purpose-built attachments or approved partner solutions, a single machine becomes a fleet consolidator, a cost reducer and a capability multiplier, according to Merlo.
"At ConExpo, we're showing exactly what sets Merlo apart," said Jennifer Brigman, vice president of strategy and operations of Merlo America. "We want people to walk away with a new understanding of what a telehandler can be — and how choosing Merlo unlocks greater efficiency, capability and potential for their entire operation."
One Vision Across Industries
Construction
When it comes to construction, Merlo America will spotlight machines engineered for the precision, stability and multifunctional performance that today's North American job sites demand. Visitors will see the ROTO 50.35 SPLUSEE4CVT paired with the Space 11 work platform, showcasing elevated productivity and reach, according to Merlo.
Nearby, the Panoramic 120.10HM equipped with a new-to-the-United-States pipe handler will highlight Merlo's expanding presence in utility, infrastructure and heavy-duty applications, according to Merlo.
Agriculture, Forestry
Meanwhile, the agriculture and forestry sectors will experience the same versatility through Merlo's MultiFarmer technology. The Multifarmer MF44.9 CS170CVT will demonstrate how producers can load bales, pull trailers and manage daily ag tasks with a single machine, dramatically simplifying operations that typically require multiple units, according to Merlo.
Attachments
Merlo's attachment innovation also will be on full display, with twelve specialized tools integrated directly into the machine's intelligence and safety systems. Standout solutions include the newly introduced tire handler, a forestry-ready log grapple and a precision box winch, each illustrating how quickly and confidently operators can transition between tasks, according to Merlo.
Across a 14-machine lineup, Merlo America will deliver one of the most extensive and capability-rich displays in its ConExpo history, an unmatched demonstration of multi-application performance across industries, according to Merlo.
Booth Designed as Journey of Discovery
The booth is designed as an experiential journey — a coast-to-coast exploration of how Merlo machines support different landscapes, industries and operational challenges. Alongside machines and attachments, visitors will find dedicated spaces for meetings, technical deep dives and direct conversations with leadership from both the United States team and Merlo Group Italy, Merlo UK & Ireland and Merlo Austraila & New Zeland. Attendees also can upgrade their "travel itinerary" with exclusive incentives and enhanced experiences, adding an element of discovery to every stop along the way.
A highlight of the space will be the high-energy simulator showdown with professional racing driver James Roe, inviting attendees to test their reflexes and find out, "Are you faster than a race car driver?"
New Era Begins at ConExpo-Con/AGG 2026
Between March 3-7, 2026, Merlo America will be reshaping the United States perception of telehandlers at ConExpo-Con/AGG. The company looks forward to demonstrating how a single platform, engineered with intelligence, safety and multi-application capability, can take businesses further than they thought possible.
