Metso introduced its new Metso Power Transmission (MPT) offering to customers worldwide, engineered to meet the demands of the modern mineral processing operations.
Featuring the H-Series and R-Series gearbox platforms engineered for horizontal and vertical grinding mills, respectively, the solutions are designed to offer reliability, serviceability and OEM value in aftermarket applications.
The in-house-designed power transmission solutions are engineered to integrate with Metso grinding mills for performance and easy maintenance. Initially launched in the aftermarket, the new power transmission lineup expands Metso's portfolio and capabilities for various grinding applications. With more than 8,000 Metso grinding mills installed globally, the addition of in-house power transmission solutions strengthens the company's ability to influence the entire flowsheet and capture full lifecycle value, according to Metso.
The power transmission solutions are designed for each application through Metso's application expertise, ensuring that each customer receives a fit-for-purpose product that maximizes value and performance for their grinding operations. Each unit also is equipped with a plug-and-play condition monitoring system, enabling predictive maintenance and seamless integration into existing operations.
