MKT’s new excavator mounted lead system (ELS) is designed to drive piling using a number of different types of pile driving and drilling equipment including vibratory hammers, hydraulic augers, diesel hammers, hydraulic impact hammers and air hammers.

The MKT excavator mounted lead system is for use on high production jobs, in low headroom applications, and on jobs with tight quarters. Each MKT ELS system contains two hydraulic winch systems: a 34,000 lb. main tool winch, and a 12,000 lb. service winch (for hoisting the piling, auger flighting, etc.), and boasts an 8 ft. (2.4 m) vertical travel system. They also feature a head sheave assembly and boom adapter, and are capable of up to 10 degree side-to side leveling, for when working on uneven terrain.

The MKT ELS system is designed to be modular, capable of fitting the specific needs of its customers.
