More than 2,200 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Minneapolis, Minn., on March 25.

Bidders came from more than 39 countries, including 47 U.S. states. More than 63 percent of the equipment was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as Hong Kong, Nigeria and Poland. Online bidders purchased 57 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

In total, more than 850 equipment items were sold in the auction, including crawler tractors, excavators, skid steer loaders, compactors and more.
