More than 3,600 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’s $49 million unreserved public equipment auction in Fort Worth, Texas, July 23 to 24.

Bidders came from 57 countries, including 48 U.S. states. Bidders from outside Texas purchased more than $27 million of equipment, from as far away as Australia, Germany and the United Arab Emirates. Online bidders purchased $19 million of the equipment sold.

In total, close to 3,300 equipment items were sold in the auction, including a 2012 Caterpillar D6T XW crawler tractor that sold for $295,000; three 2012 Kenworth T800 sleeper truck tractors that sold for $102,000 each; and three 2012 Kenworth T800 sleeper truck tractors that sold for $100,000 each.
