Modern Machinery, the Komatsu distributor, hired Mike Murphy as the new territory manager in Eugene, Ore. In his new position, Murphy is responsible for overseeing Coos, Linn, and Lane Counties.

Murphy has worked in the heavy machinery industry for more than 20 years, most recently at a local Caterpillar dealership.
“I am happy to be at Modern. I have been spending my evenings learning our computer systems and getting familiar with the Komatsu ’lingo’,” said Murphy. “I knew when I met with the Modern staff, it was the place for me.”
