Murphy Tractor & Equipment Co. Inc. has promoted one of its service technicians, Chris Crum, to compact equipment sales manager as of late October. He will be responsible for compact track loader, skid steer and compact excavator sales in the northeastern Kansas area.

Crum has worked for Murphy Tractor for almost five years as a service technician at the Wichita, Kan., location before being promoted to compact equipment sales manager.

“The addition of Chris will bring great exposure to our customers to the updated D-Series product line John Deere offers. Chris’s energy will quickly be seen as a problem solver and will result in increased awareness of what Murphy Tractor and John Deere represents,” said Mike Curry, Topeka, Kan., branch manager.
