Murphy Tractor & Equipment Co. Inc. recently announced the selection of Bill Buckles to serve as the new president of the company. This follows the recent notice of retirement of President Tom Udland.

Based in Murphy Tractor's corporate headquarters, located in Park City, Kan., Buckles will provide leadership to the company to implement market leading solutions in machines and product support to customers.

Dave Murfin, chairman, board of directors said, "I congratulate Bill Buckles on his well-deserved promotion. He has over 35 years of valuable industry experience and strong market insights. During his 26 years at Murphy Tractor, he has greatly contributed to the company's growth and success. I am excited for the future under his leadership."

Buckles joined Murphy Tractor & Equipment Co. Inc., in 1993 as the sales manager and became the company's vice president in 1998. He held this title until his recent promotion.
