Murphy Tractor and Equipment Co., a John Deere construction and forestry equipment dealer, has named Dwight Englert as branch manager of its North Platte, Neb., facility.

Englert has been involved in the construction equipment business for more than 30 years and, most recently, held the position of highway superintendent of Lincoln County. Englert has lived in North Platte all of his life and is familiar with the construction industry in the area.

His technical and operations background in the construction industry affords him a valuable perspective into the customer’s needs.
