Jim Gilbert has joined Northland JCB as territory manager for both northern Connecticut and central Massachusetts.
Gilbert started in the equipment business in 1988 cleaning equipment and he has remained in the equipment business continuously since.
Gilbert owned his own equipment rental company for 13 years and worked in sales for three different equipment companies since closing his own business in 2001. He also worked for a global equipment manufacturer for just over 9 years.
"My goal here at Northland is to find the right equipment for the right customers in my territory whether that means sales, leases, or rentals," Gilbert said. "My favorite part of the equipment business is when you help solve a customer's equipment problem and they say, ‘That's the best investment I ever made!' That's a great feeling."
