Volvo Construction Equipment Rents has announced the opening of an independently-owned Volvo Rents equipment rental center in Florida.

Contractor Equipment Rentals Inc., Orlando, FL, opened its third Volvo Rents center in Florida at 950 West Memorial Blvd., in Lakeland. Contractor Equipment Rentals, owned by Gary Tripp, has Volvo Rents rental centers in Orlando and Melbourne.

The new Volvo Rents center will carry, in addition to Volvo construction equipment, a comprehensive line of essential equipment and tools for the construction, commercial, industrial and homeowner markets. The rental central is an independently-owned and operated Volvo Construction Equipment Rents franchise within the Volvo Construction Equipment rental program.

Volvo Rents, which began its franchise rental program in 2001, now has 33 rental centers open in Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, South Carolina, California, Tennessee, Ohio, Louisiana, New York, Minnesota, Arkansas and New Jersey.

In addition to the franchises now in operation, the company has 34 franchise development agreements under consideration and in negotiations with parties seeking an independently-owned and operated franchise opportunity in the equipment rental industry.
