A new campaign has launched in Pennsylvania that urges drivers to be extra cautious when driving through an active work zone on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

The campaign, dubbed Operation Orange Squeeze, highlights the need for safe driving along stretches of the Turnpike by noting that more than 30 workers have lost their lives while performing their duties.

On the website created to support the campaign, http://operationorangesqueeze.com/ , viewers can see testimonials from turnpike workers and families of those affected by workplace accidents. Reminders of the penalties of ignoring safety guidelines are also posted on the site.

Visitors are also encouraged to make the Safe Driving Pledge, which allows users to list the reasons why they believe safe driving is of the utmost importance. The direct link to the pledge is http://operationorangesqueeze.com/pledge.php.
