Paladin Brands’ Light Construction Group has added of a line of tree and brush mulching attachments from Magnum Systems Inc. to its product offering.

Available in five different models and sizes, Magnum’s line of brush cutter heads are at home in a diverse range of applications. These can include clearing for development, right of way, remediation, reforestation and more.

According to Wendell Moss, vice president of OEM sales and marketing of Paladin Light Construction, the attachments are a complement to the group’s existing products.

“We are thrilled to be able to offer the Magnum line to our customers,” he said. “The fact that they are available in sizes ranging from heads for skid steers, loaders and excavators, fits well within our own parameters, and will add to our already-solid reputation as our customers’ one-stop shop. The vast majority of projects our customer base tackles start with some form of land-clearing effort — now we can confidently specify and quote the Magnum line to meet those needs.”

Magnum’s fixed-tooth cutter/mulcher head is designed for speed, performance and durability. Configured to mount close to the base machine, the low profile design ensures the operator greater visibility and control. This design also provides better overall machine balance, allowing operators to work in environmentally-sensitive areas with less risk of damage to the habitat.

Models are available in sizes ranging from 165 to 500 hp (123 to 373 kW) and offer a hammer design that is compatible across the model line.

“In its six-plus years of existence, the Magnum Systems name has become well-respected throughout the landclearing industry and recognized for its performance and reliability,” Moss said.
