Hundreds of area contractors were on hand to help Giles & Ransome Inc., Bensalem, PA, celebrate the grand opening of its new facility, Ransome CAT. Located in Hammonton, NJ, the new building encompasses 27,500 sq. ft., with an expanded shop area totaling 16,600 sq. ft.
There was plenty to see and do at the event, including appearances by the Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders and the first Ransome Quarterback Challenge Throw, which offered entrants a chance to win $50,000.
The guests enjoyed a pig roast and barbecue, and several lucky winners walked away with door prizes ranging from weekly skid steer and backhoe loader rentals, to NASCAR and Cat racing merchandise, and Philadelphia Eagles tickets.
The new facility has 43 employees, including a large staff of field service and Sentinel service personnel to service the South Jersey area.
