Lehi-based Podium, an SaaS platform that enables local businesses and consumers to more conveniently interact through messaging tools and online reviews, broke ground on the construction of a new 125,000 sq. ft. corporate headquarters. The company currently employs around 250, but is expected to grow to nearly 400 by the time the building is completed in August 2018.

Founded in 2014, Podium has quickly established itself as one of the fastest growing startups in the nation, growing from 15 employees to 250 in just a little over 18 months. With the announcement of its GOED tax credit and plans to add more than 426 new jobs over the next five years, the new headquarters will give the company the room it needs to grow.

Podium currently serves more than 13,000 businesses and 100,000 users. The product helps local businesses better communicate with consumers via channels like text message to answer questions, gather feedback and reviews, and gain insight into the customer experience.

Earlier this year the company announced a $32 million Series A investment from Accel, Summit Partners, GV (formerly Google Ventures) and Y Combinator.
