Bob Porter has recently been named general manager of the Nortrax Brunswick, OH, branch.
Porter has served much of the past 20 years as a territory division manager of John Deere, living as far west as Phoenix, AZ, and as far east as Virginia.
Most of Porter’s experience is in sales and marketing. This recent appointment marks the first time he has worked on the dealer side.
“I spent a lot of time in sales and marketing the construction division on the manufacturing side,” said Porter. “I was always interested in the distributor side. There was an appeal there.”CEG
