The Bobcat 50th Anniversary Road Tour was held in Freehold, N.J., at Garden State Bobcat on June 19, 2008. Along with displays of new and historic Bobcat equipment there were equipment demonstrations and rides for the kids as well as silent auctions of various pieces. In celebration of Garden State Bobcat’s 25th anniversary, the Adelphia fire company of Howell brought a fire truck display manned by firemen. In appreciation of their support, Garden State Bobcat donated a T190 remote control Bobcat model to the fire company, which was placed in the silent auction with the proceeds to benefit their development funds.
The highest bid in the silent auction for the remote control T190 was placed by Tom Roman of Quality First Basement Systems of Perth Amboy, N.J.
