“Increased storage demand requires bigger truck bodies to accommodate the volume, and the new, efficient SL132 delivers,” said Craig Bonham, vice president of business development.

Reading’s SL132 comes standard with features customers have come to expect, including Dual-Pro door seals, an Aluma-Fill fuel cup, stainless steel rotary locks and a slam-action tailgate. Every SL service truck body moves through Reading’s E-coat primer and powder coat finish process for outstanding rust and corrosion resistance. It is made in America and is backed by a 6-year warranty. This new size completes the SL service body line, which also is available in 98 in. (249 cm) single wheel and 108 in. (274 cm) dual wheel configurations as well as in lo-profile options.

“If end users want the quality of a Reading truck, then the SL service body line is the way to go. We purposely designed the SL using the same materials we use in our premium products, but have eliminated some of the higher-end features to keep it economical,” said Eric McNally, vice president of sales. “This way, companies can manage costs but maintain high levels of productivity from their field crews.”
