Hundreds of visitors were in attendance at Ring Power's Orlando Demo Day and Power Generation Systems open house. The one-day event placed an emphasis on equipment demonstrations, the company's Power Generation Systems division and showcasing services that Ring Power has to offer.
Exhibits of various Ring Power divisions as well as equipment from some of its suppliers included Rosco, LeeBoy, Weiler, Grove, Towmaster Trailers and Genie personnel lifts. Attendees had the opportunity to operate various pieces of equipment in the demonstration area and participate in operator events with a Cat mini-excavator and a Cat track loader. One of the most popular equipment demonstrations was the Genie personnel lift, which took visitors 180 ft. (54.9 m) in the air.
The event also featured a barbecue lunch, door prizes and tours of Ring Power's Orlando facility.
Ring Power Corp., headquartered in Saint Augustine Fla., also has branches in Daytona Beach, Orlando, Tampa, Ocala, Tallahassee, Palm Bay, Lake City, Tarpon Springs, Perry, Brooksville, Sarasota and Jacksonville.
