More than 3,400 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Los Angeles, Calif., on Dec. 11, 2014.

Bidders came from 60 countries, including 49 U.S. states. Approximately 49 percent of the equipment was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as Vietnam, Uganda, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, the Philippines and Jordan. Online bidders purchased 34 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

The auction featured close to 2,500 equipment items, including more than 200 truck tractors and more than 90 pickup trucks, as well as a large selection of excavating equipment, wheel loaders, motor scrapers, rock trucks, crawler tractors, and more.
