More than 1,350 bidders participated online and in person April 9 at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Raleigh-Durham, N.C.

Bidders came from 39 countries, including 47 U.S. states. Approximately 78 percent of the equipment was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as Nigeria, Indonesia, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates. Online bidders purchased more than 58 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

In total, more than 830 equipment items were sold in the auction, including crawler tractors, excavators, wheel loaders, truck tractors and more.
