More than 870 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Morris, Ill., on May 22.

Bidders came from 49 countries, including 48 U.S. states. More than 69 percent of the equipment was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as India, Peru and the United Arab Emirates. Online bidders purchased 52 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

In total, more than 1,325 equipment items were sold in the auction.
