More than 1,625 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Atlanta, Ga., on Sept. 18.

Bidders came from 48 countries, including all 50 U.S. states. More than 73 percent of the equipment was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as Sweden, Panama and Vietnam. Online bidders purchased 60 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

In total, more than 1,000 equipment items were sold in the auction.
