More than 2,300 people from 50 U.S. states and almost 40 other countries registered to bid in person or online at Ritchie Bros.’s March 24 unreserved public equipment auction in Minneapolis (Medford), Minn.

Almost 1,200 items were sold on auction day, with no minimum bids or reserve prices. Approximately 60 percent of the equipment sold to buyers from outside the state of Minnesota (by dollar value). Online buyers purchased approximately 56 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

The multi-million dollar auction featured a wide range of construction, farming, transportation and other equipment, including a selection of late model John Deere agriculture tractors, several five-axle dump trucks and a Terex rough terrain crane.
