Medico Industries Inc., with offices in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and Stroud Township, Pa., announced the appointment of Sam Rizzo as territory manager of the following counties: Luzerne, Schuylkill, Carbon and western Monroe counties of Pennsylvania.

Rizzo will be responsible for sales of both new and used equipment.

Medico Industries Inc. represents Case, Bomag, Takeuchi, Wacker, AGL, Atlas Copco, Trak and many other construction equipment lines. Medico provides parts and service, has an extensive rental fleet and offers leasing and finance packages for its customers.

Before coming to Medico Industries, Rizzo spent the last 24 years as an account manager in the food industry, working throughout Pennsylvania, New York and New England.
