Purple Wave Auction announced that Ross Rhuems has joined the company as a territory sales manager for Southeast Kansas, Southwest Missouri and Northeastern Oklahoma.

Purple Wave Auction is a leader in online, no-reserve equipment auctions serving the agriculture, construction, government and fleet industries, providing customers with opportunities to buy and sell equipment with confidence.

As a territory sales manager, Rhuems will be responsible for facilitating relationships with equipment owners and operators. He will work closely with customers to find the best fit for Purple Wave to assist with their equipment remarketing needs. Rhuems's territory covers Southeast Kansas, Southwest Missouri and Northeastern Oklahoma, including the Kansas cities of Pittsburg, Chanute and Iola, the Missouri cities of Carthage and Joplin and the Oklahoma cities of Miami, Bartlesville and Grove.

Prior to Purple Wave, Rhuems worked in the material handling industry for Wiese USA, one of the largest Caterpillar forklift dealers in the nation. He handled fleet management for several large customers and also sold the service side of the business, getting customers set up with planned maintenance programs.
