SANY America has announced its partnership with DC Bates Equipment Co, Inc of Hopedale, MA. This new dealer agreement expands SANY’s coverage to New England’s bridge, power and general contracting sectors.

“We are honored that DC Bates chose SANY to grow their line of hoisting machinery. Coupled with their success in the material lifting market, our crawler and rough terrain cranes will help them become a one-stop shop for hoisting solutions,” said Kirk Erlinger, director of dealer development at SANY America.

Until becoming a SANY dealer, DC Bates’ business focused on knuckle boom and aerial lift equipment, mostly serving the railroad, utilities and precast concrete markets. The new lines of SANY rough terrain and crawler cranes will cater to bridge work, power plant and rental fleet companies.

“When we began looking to enter the market for larger cranes, SANY demonstrated their commitment to serving customers in the US. Their facility in Georgia lets you know they’re here to stay, and we are looking forward to a long relationship distributing their products,” said Don Bates, owner of DC Bates Equipment.

Located in Peachtree City, Georgia, SANY America markets hydraulic excavators, concrete pump trucks, port machinery, rough terrain cranes and crawler cranes in North America. Last fall, the company announced it will build a $25 million R&D center alongside its 400,000 square foot corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility. When complete, the site will employ 300 hydraulic and mechanical engineers.
