Schmidt Equipment has become a new member of the Hitachi family, representing the manufacturer in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. At all five of Schmidt Equipment’s locations — North Oxford, Swansea, Billerica, Springfield and Plymouth, MA — the company is gearing up to provide New England Hitachi customers with the full gamut of services, such as new Hitachi equipment, rental fleet machines, parts and trained service technicians.

Schmidt Equipment is elated to add Hitachi to its product lines, which include John Deere, Interstate Trailer, Rogers trailers, Indeco hammers, Genesis and JRB attachments and Ingersoll-Rand compactors.

“We’re very excited about the opportunity to represent the Hitachi line. In the New England market, there already is a large number of Hitachi’s, and we feel very strongly that this relationship with Hitachi is going to open many doors for us,” said Dennis Neslusan, president of Schmidt Equipment.
