Contractors and municipal maintenance personnel from northwestern Pennsylvania were welcomed at a customer appreciation event held by Stephenson Equipment's (SEI) Walsh division. Guests gathered at the Pioneer Steam & Gas Society Park in Saegertown, Pa., on Oct. 11.

For many attendees, relationships with Walsh Equipment go back many years, prior to the dealership's acquisition last year by SEI. Customers were pleased to see many familiar faces and equipment lines while being introduced to new equipment and personnel. They also were excited to learn about SEI's investments in western Pennsylvania and Walsh, which includes a large, dedicated rental fleet; a new truck equipment facility for Walsh truck equipment; more road service capability; and new equipment lines such as Bomag and Bandit.

Approximately 200 attendees were treated to lunch and provided the opportunity to catch up with SEI-Walsh employees. Manufacturer representatives also were on hand to answer questions about their equipment on display at the event and to introduce new products in their line-up.

Equipment included a range of JCB machines; trucks equipped by J&J Truck Bodies; LeeBoy pavers; Bomag rollers; Bandit wood processing equipment; Tiger mowers; Massey Ferguson tractors; and the dealership's latest addition to its equipment line, Falcon asphalt repair equipment.

With the addition of Walsh Equipment Division's two locations in 2017, SEI now operates six facilities in Pennsylvania, along with two locations in New York, staffed by a total of nearly 200 employees.
