The construction industry's shift toward cordless equipment is accelerating and, as battery power continues to become more prominent on job sites, the expectations for battery performance are higher than ever.

Contractors want the freedom of cordless tools without sacrificing power, runtime or reliability.

With the latest expansion of its Nuron battery platform, Hilti is helping to make that a reality, introducing more than 60 new heavy-duty cordless tools and accessories that are thoughtfully engineered to deliver the power and performance contractors need — without the cord.

This rollout builds on the success of the Nuron platform, which launched in 2022 and already includes more than 100 battery-operated tools.

The goal? A fully cordless job site powered by a single, interchangeable battery system that offers higher output and extended runtimes for demanding applications.

At the heart of this expansion is the B 290-22 battery, engineered specifically for heavy-duty applications and capable of boosting jobsite efficiency by up to 25 percent.

By simplifying power management and delivering corded-level performance, Nuron is helping to expand the possibilities of cordless tools across concrete, demolition, metalworking and earthmoving applications — enabling crews to power a wide range of jobsite-critical tasks from a single, more powerful battery platform.

Key additions to Hilti's expanded heavy-duty lineup include:

• SCN 60-22 cordless chainsaw — built for tough demolition with high chain speed for smooth cuts.

• SCT 60-22 cordless table saw (coming soon) — portable, high-power cutting anywhere on site.

• NVP 15-22 and NVP 20-22 cordless compaction plates (coming soon) — compact soil and gravel with ease.

• DD Series cordless core drills (DD 150-U-22 available now) — precision drilling made simpler.

• DSH 900-22 14-in. cordless cut-off saw (coming soon) — powers through concrete, metal, and more.

• AG 30-22 cordless angle grinder (coming soon) — flexible design for cutting and grinding metals with reduced fatigue.

• TE 1000-22 and TE 3000-22 cordless breakers (coming soon) — high-impact force for faster breaking.

• TE 70-22 cordless rotary hammer (coming soon) — drill more holes per charge for maximum productivity.

The Nuron platform eliminates the need for multiple power systems. As with all Nuron batteries, the B 290-22 is compatible with the full Nuron lineup, from light-duty drills to heavy-duty breakers, eliminating the need for multiple battery systems and chargers.

This streamlined approach helps contractors reduce downtime, simplify logistics and better manage equipment fleets.

Beyond power and performance, Hilti continues to prioritize jobsite safety and operator comfort.

Every new tool is designed with health, comfort and safety in mind, featuring vibration reduction, kickback control, integrated dust management and ergonomic designs. In addition, all Nuron tools are tether-ready to support peace of mind when working at heights and help contractors meet evolving jobsite safety requirements.

While cordless solutions are the focus, Hilti continues to offer corded and gas-powered options for jobs requiring extended runtime or autonomy — ensuring contractors always have the right tool for the job.

Whether the job at hand requires the convenience and flexibility of battery power or the familiarity and autonomy of corded or gas solutions, Hilti's expanded tool lineup helps enable a new way of working.

And by delivering corded-level performance on a single battery system, the Nuron battery platform helps to give contractors the freedom to transition to a fully cordless tool crib that is more efficient, flexible and future-ready.
