With an engine power of 450 hp (335 kW) and a hauling capacity of 41.9 tons (38 t), with a heaped capacity of 30.3 cu.yd. (23 cu m), the Terex TA40 Generation 7 TA articulated off-highway truck offers high power, high torque and Tier III emission-certified engines. The dual-slope tail chute allows for complete and quick material ejection.

A spacious, ergonomic cab is equipped with air-suspended, fully adjustable operators’ seats for maximum operator comfort. Engineered for ease of serviceability, all Generation 7 models feature tilting cabs allowing unrestricted access for inspection and maintenance.

The TA40 also comes standard with automatic transmissions with manual override and rotational pressure compensation (RPC) for smoother, faster shifting. This model also is designed with automatic limited slip differentials in each axle for enhanced traction in rough ground conditions.
