Construction Equipment Guide

The Terex TX970B tractor loader backhoe is designed to give contractors the versatility of a wheel loader, with its all-wheel steer configuration, and the functionality of an excavator in one powerful package.

Pilot controls make this model operate like an excavator — its closed center, sharing control valve gives operators a smooth, multi-function performance while ensuring fine control for accurate trenching and grading applications. It is designed with long backhoe booms for increased reach and digging depths to provide more productivity through fewer machine moves, according to the manufacturer.

The entire Terex line of tractor loader backhoes comes standard with 4-wheel drive and high ground clearance to easily travel over rough terrain in construction areas. The TX970B comes standard with all-wheel steer capabilities.

The Terex TX970B tractor loader backhoe boasts 94 hp (70 kW) and has a dig depth of 15 ft. 11 in. (4.8 m).
