Thompson Tractor Celebration Moves On to Spanish Fort

November 8, 2007 - Southeast Edition
Construction Equipment Guide

The latest stop in the series of 50th Anniversary Open House events for Thompson Tractor Company was held in Spanish Fort (Mobile), Ala., Oct. 9.

Approximately 500 customers, guests, friends and others who enjoy good food, fellowship and Cat equipment turned out for this big event.

Plenty of support was given by the many Caterpillar representatives that made their way from their offices in Peoria, Ill., and throughout the Southeast. Guests enjoyed “Thompson-style” Gulf Coast hospitality, giveaways, music and great food including an abundance of fried shrimp, fish, chicken and sides.

Machines from all divisions of Thompson Tractor were displayed with representatives from Cat and Thompson on hand to answer questions. Next up on the Thompson Tractor 50th Anniversary tour is Montgomery, Ala.
