Yancey Bros. Co. has promoted Stan Lassiter to vice president of sales support and Vic Morris to vice president of parts and service.

During the past decade Lassiter and Morris have played major roles in providing leadership and support to Yancey’s success during a period of tremendous growth in the construction industry across the state of Georgia.

Lassiter began his career in the construction industry 22 years ago as a mechanic at Midco Southern Company. He joined Yancey Bros. Co. in 1990 as a sales representative for Grissom-Harrison and later became an earthmoving sales representative. He also has held positions as earthmoving field sales manager and used equipment/rental manager.

Most recently, Lassiter served as sales support manager, guiding Yancey’s used, rental and sales administration departments. In his new position, he will add management responsibility for Yancey’s Cat Rental Store and building construction products divisions.

Vic Morris joined Yancey Bros. Co. in 1986 as Atlanta parts manager. He then held positions as product support sales representative, parts operations manager, product support sales manager and general parts and service manager. In this most recent position, Morris also was responsible for oversight of all store expansion. His leadership of Yancey’s parts and service business led to his promotion.
